This has been prepared by our Honorary Solicitor, Norbert Schweizer’s, company Schweizer Kobras in order to ensure that we conform to the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Victoria) and it’s model rules for associations, and to reflect current thought.
We have left the document marked in order that you can see most of the proposed changes. You will notice that new sections have been included for compliance purposes, some language has been simplified and the sequencing made more logical. Also see below the old document to allow for detailed comparison.
It is planned to present the new document and the resolution will call for acceptance in its entirety. Discussion will take place around any matters that are raised at the meeting or in advance and so if you have a query or are not able to attend the meeting please let us know as soon as possible so that the matter can be noted and addressed.
